Mark Mc Laughlin Shares Tales of the Donner Party at SLT Library

Mark McLaughlin, “The Storm King”, is an award-winning, nationally published author, professional speaker, and photographer with six books and more than 650 articles in print.

He will present a multimedia presentation on his newest book, "The Donner Party: Weathering the Storm" at the South Lake Library on June 18 at 6 p.m.

This well-illustrated and enjoyable book chronicles weather conditions and storm events in Northern California and the mountains during the winter of 1847. Come learn something new about this tragic event. All books will be available for purchase and signing by the author.
