Announcing the Truckee premiere of Is It Happening?, brought to you by Pat Branch Films. Is It Happening? “is a film about the modern snowboarders' lifestyle of creating unique shots outside of the resort parks, and showing how much effort, time and luck it can take for that final shot to come together.” Please join us on May 30th at Fifty Fifty Brewing Company, located at 11197 Brockway Road, in Truckee, California, for a unique look at snowboarding films. This docu-action film stands alone as the behind-the-scenes purview of what it takes to “get the shot” when choosing alternate locations than a resort.

Part rebellion, part zen and 100% steez, this film highlights the challenges when pursuing the shot, from alert janitors and “an employee who had a problem with it,” to equipment malfunctions like snowmobiles breaking down in the middle of nowhere, or soft snow that is too sketchy for loaded-down trailers and snow storms, this film, Is It Happening?, shows that process. Many different factors must come together for that perfect six second shot, so it's normal to question if, after all the time and energy invested, is it really going to happen?
