Junior Ranger Scavenger Hunt for youth

July 28, 2023 (All day) The Eldorado National Forest Interpretative Association will offer a free Junior Ranger Scavenger hike on Friday, July 28th, at 10:00 AM which starts at the Carson Pass Information Station on HWY 88. It will be a 1 hour scavenger hike along the Pacific Crest Trail. Youth 5-15 are invited to learn more about the Carson Pass and the Mokelumne Wilderness to earn a Junior Ranger Badge. All participants who complete the hike will earn their badge! We recommend that participants wear good shoes and bring water. We also urge visitors to call 209-258-8606 to reserve a spot as we are limited to 12 participants on this hike.
