Dawgs On The Run is a non-profit organization based in South Lake Tahoe, California (filing pending). Our purpose is to expose people to educational information and resources for responsible pet care and to help pet owner gain a better understanding about their impact on the community.

We have a personal commitment to our dogs and community and have developed an event to improve owner awareness in a fun and light-hearted way that the whole family can enjoy; with a carnival theme and fun activities, to assist us in accomplishing our mission.

Many pet owners are unaware of the basic needs of their pets and the potential health concerns that can arise, due to lack of knowledge of these fundamentals. Owners will have access to information ranging from basic veterinary care and nutrition to grooming, training and behavior management. Attending local area resources will also help to connect pet owners with helpful organizations designed to support responsible and lifelong pet ownership.

There are many ways you can help, from attending our event, volunteering your time to sharing our event information with others.
