Elevate Your View Leadership Conference

Leadership Lake Tahoe, on behalf of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, is proud to host the first annual Elevate Your View Lake Tahoe Leadership Conference at MontBleu Resort. This one-day conference, on May 10, 2014 is meant to raise awareness and empower our community to improve the future of Lake Tahoe.

Our mission is to host a diverse conference that brings together different facets of the community to discuss the changes underway in Tahoe and the challenges that lie ahead. Keynote speakers include Community Choreographer Dave Meslin, and the mayor of Park City, Utah, Dana Williams. We will have interactive sessions with members of regulatory organizations, Tahoe educators, and leaders in the tourism engine, which drives Tahoe. In addition, we’ll have members of the community speak to what it means to be a long-time local who has found success here, as well as new members of our community trying to find their way and the challenges they foresee.

ABOUT THE EVENT
The Leadership Summit will consist of two keynote speakers and three breakout sessions. Our goal is to not only encourage attendees to hear about the issues concerning South Lake Tahoe, but to discuss potential solutions & ways of involvement as well. It is time for YOU as a community member to Elevate Your View. Apathy is no longer an option if we expect our fragile economy to keep up with the competition.

After the Summit concludes, we encourage attendees 21 and over to attend Mont Bleu's Boogie Nights at Blu Nightclub! This fun party will serve as a way to continue discussions in a more casual environment, while experiencing South Lake Tahoe's infamous nightlife.
