Nevada's casinos once again have strong showing in monthly revenue report

Nevada’s non-restricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,150,169,585 for the month of November 2021, a gain of 68.23 percent over the same period in 2020. The South Shore Lake Tahoe casino's win was up 18.95 percent over the same period with their gaming revenue of $18,569,338, according to the State's monthly gaming revenue report.

Last month's report also showed over $18M in gaming revenue on the South Shore and $1.32M for the state of Nevada.

Another strong showing on the Las Vegas Strip put the state up by such a high percentage. Revenues at casinos on the strip were up 122.86 percent over last year. Last month, the revenue at those casinos was up almost the same, showing a rebound from a year with COVID closures.

North Lake Tahoe casinos saw a 42.86 percent gain in the "win" with their reported $2,070,795.

The "gaming win" represents the computed income of casinos before business expenses and taxes.

Carson City and the Carson Valley's win was $11,026,880, up 19.57 percent from November 2020.

Meanwhile, casinos in Reno, Sparks, and other areas of Washoe County also saw gaming-related revenue in the positive, with Sparks climbing 11.19 percent, Reno, 26.34 percent, and the county as a whole, 20.77 percent.

The State has collected $570,841,940 in percentage fees to date for the fiscal year which began July 1.
