Kudos: Bread & Broth thanks Heavenly Ski Patrol

Exchanging their Heavenly Ski Patrol jackets for Bread & Broth (B&B) aprons, Patrick Chu, Colton Terry, Andi Bertolina, Abby Salter, Marissa Streck, and Mike Galgay joined the B&B volunteers serving a delicious hot meal to the dinner guests at the Monday Meal on January 27 at St. Theresa Grace Hall. It was a cold evening and the hot chicken noodle casserole, prepared by the talented B&B cooks and served by the Heavenly Ski Patrol Adopt A Day sponsor team members, was a hit with the dinner guests.

“It’s a pleasure and honor to be able to participate in Bread & Broth’s AAD program,” said Patrick Chu. “Every year, Heavenly Ski Patrol takes great pride in connecting with the local community through various avenues. But we keep coming back to B&B, year after year, because of the amazing and dedicated B&B volunteers that facilitate the event and the feeling that participating in something ‘bigger’ gives us.”

B&B is so very fortunate and very thankful to have the Heavenly Ski Patrol partner with us in helping to ease hunger in our community. They are great workers, fun and very warm-hearted. Evidently helping and assisting others is just second nature for those who spend their day in the aid of others. B&B looks forward to having Heavenly Patrol members back for a second Adopt A Day on March 16.
