Oregon and Boise State headed to Pac-8 Men's Hockey finals in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The University of Oregon is looking for a repeat as champions when they face Boise State on Sunday at noon for the Pac-8 Men's Ice Hockey Championship at the South Lake Tahoe Ice Area.

The top four teams from both the North and South Divisions have been in town for the three-day tournament. In the North Division, Oregon (11-3) and Boise State (9-3-2) secured the top two spots in the division. The Eastern Washington Eagles (8-5-1) were the third seed and Western Washington (7-7) was the fourth and final seed.

In the South Division, California (11-3) won the division title for the second straight season. Arizona State placed second in the rankings with a 10-2-2 record. San Diego State (8-5-1) and San Jose State (7-7) round out the South division with the third and fourth seeds.

The tournament has been an eight-team single-elimination tournament.
