Police look for man who robbed South Lake Tahoe bank

South Lake Tahoe police are looking for a man who robbed the El Dorado Savings Bank in the 3400 block of Lake Tahoe Boulevard Thursday at around 2 p.m.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20s, with a black hoodie and snow googles. He is described as being slight to average build with scruffy facial fair and a black patch of hair on his left cheek, similar to a mole. He was wearing blue pants, black jacket with leather sleeves, similar to a letterman's jacket, South Lake Tahoe police report. No weapon was seen.

Bank Robbery at El Dorado Savings Bank

On March 7th at approximately 2:06 PM, the South Lake Tahoe Police Department responded to a report of a bank robbery that just occurred at El Dorado Savings Bank located at 3443 Lake Tahoe Blvd. It was reported to officers that an unidentified white male adult entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. No weapon was seen. After the undisclosed amount of money was handed to him, he fled the scene on foot.

The suspect was described as: White male adult in his mid-20’s.
Slight to average build with scruffy facial hair and a black patch of hair on his left cheek similar to a mole.

The suspect was wearing blue pants, black jacket with leather sleeves similar to a letterman’s jacket. He had a black hoodie and snow goggles and carrying a Safeway reusable shopping bag.

The suspect is on video walking down Bal Bijou Road just prior to the robbery. He was last seen fleeing the scene behind CVS Pharmacy on foot.
