Northstar Hosts Olympic Champion David Wise Saturday, March 15

Northstar California Resort is proud to welcome Olympic champion David Wise and his family back to his home mountain with a full day of festivities open to the public, both skiers and non-skiers, this Saturday, March 15.
In celebration of David’s gold medal in men’s halfpipe skiing, his dedication to family and being a huge supporter of the Boys & Girls Club, The Wise family and The Village at Northstar will host kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Nevada and North Lake Tahoe chapters for lunch; followed by activities for adults and kids alike, both on and off the slopes.

Visit The Village at Northstar for fun Olympic/USA themed events happening all day from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., including skating, free face painting, balloon twisting, a group ski and photo with David at 2 p.m., live music all afternoon in The Village, and an autograph signing at 4 p.m. Attendees can capture the Olympic spirit by posing for photos with their own flameless torches, gold medals and cutout signs.
