Food, fun and entertainment at South Shore Business Expo

Over 1,500 people attended the Tahoe Chamber's annual Business Expo at Harrah's Tahoe on Friday. Hundreds of businesses and dozens of volunteers created an evening that won't soon be forgotten.

Natalie Malik, owner of Talie Jane Interiors, won the 2nd Annual Best Booth Experience plaque. Tahoe Chamber board members and ambassadors surveyed the 100 booths to vote for this award which recognizes a booth that is not only visually appealing, but whose staff is engaging and enthusiastic, thus contributing to an overall positive experience for the attendee. Clever construction of a living room inside the 8’x10’ space, complete with a reclaimed wood bar, fireplace and impeccable decorating, grabbed the attention of the judges and attendees, which made her a shoo-in for the win.

New this year was a "Networking Lounge" where attendees could sit in lounge chairs and mingle around cocktail tables, away from the main Expo floor. Attendees know that the even can be very busy and loud, so this lounge was created to to allow for quality networking time.
