Motorcycle Driver Succumbs to Injuries Suffered from Accident in Carson City

The driver of the motorcycle involved in the March 22 accident that killed South Lake Tahoe resident Audrey G. Rugamas has died of his injuries.
20 year old Andrey Gallegos of Sparks, Nevada was taken off life support on March 30. He suffered major injuries in the accident which occurred at the corner of Roop and Fairview Streets.
The crash investigation details indicate a 2007 maroon, gold and green Suzuki street bike driven by Gallegos along with his passenger, Rugamas, was traveling southbound on South Roop St. and entered the intersection of Fairview Dr. where it struck a gray Chevy Silverado pickup. Gallegos and Rugamas were transported by Care Flight to Renown Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
