Lanes closures and power outages over next two weeks as work wraps up in Stateline

NV Energy is in the final stages of work on the underground electrical vault damaged in an April 1 explosion on Highway 50 at Stateline. They expect work will be completed by May 17.
Both westbound lanes will have to be closed starting Monday, May 7 as work continues underground. One of those lanes will reopen on Friday, May 11.Detours will be marked.
Eastbound lanes will remain open throughout the course of work. During this time, NV Energy will be installing equipment specific to the site.
Starting Monday, May 14, both westbound lanes will close again to finalize work. The road will be open to traffic as normal on Thursday, May 17.
During the next two weeks, two planned outages will take place to ensure work can be completed as quickly and safely as possible. NV Energy has communicated these outages to customers who will be impacted.
