Inaugural Community Games at LTCC on May 31

The Future Business Leaders of Tahoe student club at Lake Tahoe Community College warmly invites one and all to join in the first-ever LTCC Community Games on Saturday, May 31 from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Fitness Education Center at LTCC. If, like us, you’ve been inspired by our local Olympic champions and now wish to grab some gold for yourself (while spreading the concepts of good sportsmanship and community spirit), then the Community Games are for you!

There will be a table tennis and dodgeball tournament (open to all), a charity basketball game pitting the South Lake Tahoe Police Department against the South Lake Tahoe Fire Department, raffles, barbecue, live music, and plenty of good cheer to go around. All proceeds from the Community Games will fund student scholarships at LTCC.

Cost for the day is $5 for adults, $3 for students with ID, children under 10 are free. Extra fees may be involved on team events. Besides games there will be live music, a raffle, prizes, BBQ, paper airplane contest and more.

The Charity Basketball Game will be from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
