Ski Run Boulevard Farmers Market set to begin June 22

Get ready for the Ski Run Boulevard Farmers Market beginning Friday, June 22nd, between 3 and 8 pm. The Farmers Market will be held every Friday afternoon throughout the summer between Larch and Birch on beautiful Ski Run Boulevard.

Make it a family affair and have dinner at the food booths, get the kids’ faces painted, jump in the bounce house and visit the many shops and recreation areas extending from Heavenly Resort to the Marina on Ski Run Boulevard.

Stock up on fresh organic produce, farm fresh eggs, Don’s fresh baked goods, salsa, honey and jam. Shoppers will find great household items, soaps, ceramics, jewelry and Gaia-Licious’ and Kreative Minds’ unique clothing at the arts and crafts booths. Food vendors will feature Gold Rush kettle corn, Lady Lemonade’s organic lemonade and teas, La Isla Tropical island food, brick oven pizza, Artemis Greek & Mediterranean fare, organic seasonal meals, Hoch Family Creamery ice cream and a Mendocino oyster bar.

At the Blue Angel’s wine and beer outdoor garden relax and enjoy live music. Musicians Brandy Robinson, Art’s Jazz Duo and Moedecker on the cigar box guitar are already lined up to perform.

Art aficionados should check out the sculptures and galleries at the Ski Run Marina and the Tahoe Art League’s Showcase Gallery in the Ski Run Center.

Kora the Art Car will be parked at the Market, too. Kora is an '84 Jetta painted with a classic green chalkboard finish. She’s actually a National Art Project and visitors can draw on her chalkboard surfaces, tires, windows... basically everywhere! It's out-of-the-box, vibrantly colorful fun for everyone.

The Ski Run BID is marketing the District and nearby area as “On the Run,” a destination site for Lake Tahoe locals and tourists. Ski Run Boulevard is located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe and offers shopping, restaurants, pedestrian-friendly walking paths, and outdoor recreation. Ski Run Boulevard is anchored by Heavenly Ski Resort at the top of the Run and Ski Run Marina at the bottom. In the coming months, tourists and locals alike can look forward to a variety of family- friendly outdoor and indoor events “On the Run.”
