Can still participate in 15th annual Tahoe Bike Challenge as it enters final days

The 15th annual Tahoe Bike Challenge began June 1st for a month of biking excitement throughout Lake Tahoe. To date, participants have already logged over 39,000 miles and almost 3,800 trips. This has resulted in 1,685 pounds CO2 not released into the air through car rides.

If you haven't already joined, there's still time to register at lovetoride.net/tahoe. Looking for a team to join? Join the Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition team.

Bicycling remains an important way to get around Tahoe during the COVID-19 pandemic, and bicycling is still permitted in all Tahoe jurisdictions for recreation and as transportation to essential activities.

The Coalition has a special bingo game that gives participants a chance to win prizes. Learn how to participate here - https://www.lovetoride.net/tahoe/pages/prizes?locale=en-US&page=3_bingo.

For the Bike Challenge, the top prize this year is a snowboard donated by Tahoe local, professional snowboarder, and Olympic gold medalist Jamie Anderson. The snowboard will be awarded to the top overall rider (participant with the most points). There are also Vail lift tickets and certificates to local businesses.
