Bus stuck on Johnson Pass Road at Echo Summit

7:00 p.m. update: According to the CHP dispatch center in Chico, the bus was able to maneuver around the curve and the road has reopened. All passengers reboarded the bus and they were able to continue their journey, over two hours later.
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - A bus trying to navigate Johnson Pass Road at Echo Summit is stuck, and according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), at least 50 vehicles behind it.
The first report was received by the CHP at 4:49 p.m. Tuesday.
Law enforcement is at the scene and no other information is available at this time but some cars are able to get around on the narrow road.
