From breakfast to tattoos, celebrity golf events off the course

LAKE TAHOE, Nev. - Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe will host four celebrity meet-and-greet opportunities during the 30th annual American Century Championship Celebrity Golf Tournament next week, July 9-14.

Tahoe Douglas Rotary Breakfast - NHL All-Star Joe Pavelski, a recent addition to the Dallas Stars – formerly of the San Jose Sharks, and NFL All-Pro placekicker Robbie Gould of the San Francisco Forty Niners will be addressing the Tahoe Douglas Rotary during its 5th Annual Breakfast with Celebrities, Wednesday, July 10, 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. at Vinyl showroom. In addition to socializing, Pavelski and Gould will be fielding questions from attendees. “Battle of the Ink” features celebrity artists, Joey Hamilton and Big Ceeze, in a free live three-hour event at Vinyl where guests 21+ can vote for their favorite tattoo, July 12 at 6:30 p.m. Hamilton, TV’s “Ink Master” alums, opened Revolt Tattoos’s new parlor inside Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in January. Meet-and-greets with Hamilton and Ceeze are available July 10 – 11 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Chef Rick Moonen "Godfather of Sustainability," an early adopter of sustainable fishing practices, will fire up the grill for rainbow trout, cold lobster gazpacho and sides dishes at the outdoor pool, July 13 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $35. Moonen is a seafood chef who opened several high-end establishments in New York before opening RM Seafood and R Bar Café at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas in 2005.

Cocktails with Jerry Rice - Join Jerry Rice, San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame wide receiver, for cocktails at Vinyl, July 13 at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $49 and include two beverages along with a DJ performance from Rice himself. Rice is among 90+ sports/entertainment celebrities participating in the 30th annual American Century Championship golf tournament across the street from Hard Rock at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, July 9-14.
