Rain and cooler temperatures in forecast for South Lake Tahoe

Rain, cooler temperatures and thunderstorms are expected in South Lake Tahoe Monday and lingering into Tuesday.
Light rain is expected to reach the area by 1 a.m. Monday according to Accuweather.com. During the day there is a 40% chance for thunderstorms and 1" of rain is forecast. A high of 69 is expected, far below the normal for the day, 82 degrees.
Tuesday morning is expected to have light rain. There is a 40% chance for thunderstorms and the high will be 72, low 47.
The rest of the week is expected to be sunny with a slight chance of thundershowers on Thursday and Friday.
