The City of South Lake Tahoe invites the community to participate in the City’s 50th Anniversary Parade on Saturday, September 19, 2015. This will be a unique opportunity to showcase organizations, service groups, athletic teams, schools, etc. while joining with the entire community in celebrating 50 years of South Lake Tahoe history. The theme of the 2015 parade is Past, Present and Future.
Please complete a Parade Application by September 1st. Applications are available online at www.cityofslt.us/50parade or at any City Office. The City is not requiring a fee to participate in the parade in an effort to allow all organizations to participate. The parade is open to walking groups and vehicles with the route beginning at Al Tahoe Blvd. and concluding at the “Y.”
The City extends their gratitude to the Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe for their volunteer efforts to help put on the parade.
More information and the downloadable application are available online at www.cityofslt.us/50parade or contact City Public Information Officer Tracy Franklin at (530) 542-6093 or tfranklin@cityofslt.us.
