NHP still searching for driver involved in hit and run

The Nevada Highway Patrol is still searching for the driver of a silver 4-door Cadillac who was involved in a hit and run on August 7 in Sun Valley near Reno.
At approximately 5:30 a.m. the Cadillac rear ended a white Subaru on SR443 (Sun Valley Blvd) southbound just north of Second Street. After the collision the white Subaru pulled to the shoulder and stopped. The driver of the silver Cadillac continued South on SR 443 (Sun Valley Blvd) without stopping.
The Silver Cadillac is believed to have unknown California license plates. The Cadillac is believed to have moderate front end damage. The white Subaru suffered moderate rear end damage.
This accident is still under investigation. If anyone witnessed the accident or has information regarding this accident please notify Trooper Chava Rothschild at the NHP Reno office @ (775) 688-2500 regarding accident #140800653.
