Join Tahoe’s Trash Pickup Challenge in September

Clean Tahoe, Incline Village Waste Not, South Tahoe Refuse and League to Save Lake Tahoe have joined together to offer Tahoe's Trash Pickup Challenge. Help them show Tahoe how much we care by participating in the challenge from September 1-30! Together we can keep our beautiful Tahoe environment clean and litter free.

All month long they encourage you to go out and pick up any litter that you see! You can join Keep Tahoe Blue all month long at in-person events, by cleaning up remotely, or both.

Head to keeptahoeblue.org/events to get details on in-person cleanups, how to be entered into the month-long raffle, and more!

Engage with others participating in the Challenge and post your photos for all to see using the hashtags #TahoeBlueGooder and #LitterFreeTahoe on social media.

Report what you find and double your impact by using the “That’s Not Natural” report on the Citizen Science Tahoe App (citizensciencetahoe.org). Or fill in a data card (provided in cleanup kits, or downloadable here) and either drop it off where you borrowed cleanup supplies or email it to events@keeptahoeblue.org.

You can also join them for any in-person cleanups throughout the month! Follow the links below for more information and to sign up today.
