Mental Health Clinic moving into new home this week

The former City Council building on Lake Tahoe Blvd is the new home for El Dorado County Mental Health. They'll be packing up their current Johnson Avenue offices on Friday, September 5 and are planning on opening in their new location on Monday, September 8.
"We are working hard to ensure a smooth transition during our move, with as little disruption in services as possible," said Patricia Charles-Heathers, Assistant Director of El Dorado County Health Services. According to Charles-Heathers, there are a number of benefits to the new Mental Health Clinic location in South Lake Tahoe, including more space for services and facility improvements to meet the latest ADA requirements.
County Alcohol and Drug Program services will also be located at the new Mental Health facility.
All phone numbers will remain the same. The new location is 1900 Lake Tahoe Blvd across from Les Schwab Tires and adjacent to the KMart Garden Center.
