Update 9-14-14 12:00 p.m. - The outside deck of a home located at 111 Tramway caught fire Saturday evening, causing the closure of Kingsbury Grade. The two alarm fire moved onto the home's siding and was extinguished by a Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District engine company.
The cause of the fire is under investigation but it may be related to construction activity at the home.
Original Story:
There are reports of a structure fire Saturday night on Kingsbury Grade. Douglas Country Sheriff's Office is just saying that they are working a fire, but no further details are available.
A driver at the top of the grade said they've been there an hour as of 8 p.m. and haven't moved.
Kingsbury Grade reopened by 9 p.m.
As soon as we learn more details we'll pass them on.
