Annual Kids Fishing Derby at Tahoe Paradise Park

Get ready to have some fun at the annual free Kids Fishing Derby this Saturday, September 28 at Lake Baron in Tahoe Paradise Park from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hosted by the Moose Lodge of South Lake Tahoe, the derby is fun for the whole family.

The Derby is FREE to all children under the age of 16.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. at Lake Baron under the tent.

For the event, the Lodge will be planting the lake with over 1,050 pounds of trout, ranging from one to five pounds. All participating kids get a toy and snacks. Fish will be cleared. Rods and bait are available for use for free if needed.

Catch and release is encouraged after catching two fish to take home.

Tahoe Paradise Park is located at 1011 E. San Bernadino, South Lake Tahoe.
