Where to vote in South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County and Douglas County

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Ballots have been mailed out for the November 8 election, giving people the option to return them via mail, a drop box, or at a voter center in California, or through mail-in, early voting or election day voting.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

Early Voting - Early voting will end 4 days before the election (October 22 to November 4, 2022). Days and hours of operation vary by county. A list of early voting polling places by county can be found here. In order to avoid lines on Election Day, all voters who wish to vote in person are encouraged to vote early.

Election Day - Polling locations open at 7 a.m. on Election Day and remain open until 7 p.m. As long as you are in line by 7 p.m., you will be allowed to vote. A list of Election Day polling places by county can be found here.

Voting is set up at the Historic Courthouse at 1616 8th St., Minden, and the Douglas County Community Center, 1329 Waterloo Ln., Gardnerville.
