South Lake Tahoe's 2nd Annual Holiday Parade on Saturday

The 2nd Annual South Lake Tahoe Holiday Parade will be held on Saturday, December 14. Spectators will line the parade route from the top of Ski Run Blvd to TJMaxx at the Y. When the parade starts the forecast is sunny and 40 degrees.

Local businesses and groups participating in the parade are Golden Bear Events (the organizers), South Lake Tahoe Fire Department, City Councilman Tom Davis, County Supervisor Norma Santiago, Christmas Cheer All Year, Affordable Construction Services, South Tahoe Refuse, Wally's Hot Springs, STAR volunteers, El Dorado County Search and Rescue, Emerald Bay Towing, Lukins Water Company, Handyman Hotline Inc, California Colors, EverythingTahoe.com, Slow Riders Bicycle Club, Thomas Haen Company, Tahoe Restaurant Delivery, South Lake Tahoe Community Services and the South Lake Tahoe Police Department escort.

When the parade ends behind TJMaxx there will be hot cocoa and cookies. Christmas Cheer All Year is the charity beneficiary of the event this year so there will be bins available to drop off donations of a new toy or non-perishable food items.

Staging for the parade is from 2 to 3 pm, start is at 3 pm and the it is expected to last 45 minutes.
