SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Join this year’s Ski With A Ranger program at Heavenly Mountain Resort on the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit.
- When: Every Friday Jan. 30, 2026 through April 3 at 1 p.m., weather and conditions permitting
- Location: Skiers and snowboarders depart from top of Heavenly Gondola
- Duration: About 60 minutes
- Requirements: Intermediate level skiers/snowboarders or above with own lift ticket
- No reservations required; attendance on first-come, first-served basis with group size limited to 12
This free conservation education program shares the mission and role of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service in ski area management. Participants will also learn more about natural resources and environmental stewardship.
