SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Marcella Foundation invites restaurants and businesses to join them this February to “Show the Love” for our local unhoused population who are in need of quality, nutritious food. Due to rising food costs and dropping temperatures, our community is in need now more than ever. With Valentine’s Day coming, celebrate a Day of Love and a Month of Food by donating a meal to feed 15 people.
Through the FeedTahoe program, they accept any food types you can share that make up a basic meal or dish. The goal is to send food to the local homeless shelter 20 times, one meal for every weekday of the month. Any food donations would be greatly appreciated! Once you have your date confirmed, your business logo will be added to this calendar to be highlighted on Marcella Foundation social media!
Thank you to the businesses that have already signed up and donated food! The community appreciates your support and generosity for sharing food this month.
