SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The South Lake Tahoe Senior Citizens, Inc. is restarting its monthly potlucks on February 15. This is a great time to stop by and meet new seniors, and enjoy the festivities at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

This month’s dinner is held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and meatloaf is the main entree. Attendees are being asked to bring a side dish, though it is not required.

There will be entertainment and door and prizes.

RSVP by calling 530-600-0393 or sending an email to sltseniorcitizens@gmail.com.

The Senior Center was a great place for seniors to come together and enjoy being with people their own age. When the center was closed during COVID, membership dwindled and Seniors, Inc. is trying to restore the center into a place where seniors want to come together and have a good time.

Membership is key to making it into what it once was. More members are needed and the cost is minimal. Annual dues are $25 per year for one person, or $30 per year for a couple living at the same address.

The community is invited to come and meet new seniors and old friends. They are looking forward to seeing everyone there.
