SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Due to winter weather and blood drive cancelations, Vitalant has lost 1000 donations across the country, causing a shortage and immediate ramping up to make up to help fulfill their promises to local hospitals. Every day Vitalant needs to collect 180 units to support patients in need within the Northern Nevada and Eastern California communities.

The South Lake Tahoe Community blood drive is Friday, February 21 at the South Lake Tahoe Parks & Recreation Center, 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd, from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. – you are needed!
