
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The current dry period will extend through at least mid-month as high pressure remains overhead. Chilly mornings, mild afternoons, and some periods of increased easterly winds over the Sierra
crest are expected, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno. An increased chance for light precipitation looms on the forecast horizon, perhaps by Valentine`s Day.

Monday – Sunny, with a high near 51. Calm wind.
Monday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 20. Calm wind.
Tuesday – Sunny, with a high near 49. East wind around 5 mph.
Tuesday Night – Clear, with a low around 21. East wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday – Sunny, with a high near 50. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph
in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night – Clear, with a low around 23.
Thursday – Sunny, with a high near 51.
