SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – It was a full weekend of action on the ice in South Lake Tahoe as the Ice Arena was home to the Pac-8 Men’s Hockey Championship. The final game put the #1 and #2 seeds from the north, the University of Oregon and Boise State, together to fight it out for the trophy.

For the second consecutive year, and for the fifth time, the Oregon Ducks will be taking home the championship title back to Eugene. They blanked the Boise State Broncos 3-0.

Senior Warren Berg from Thousand Oaks, California got it all started with the first goal of the day with 14:52 left in the 1st period.

The score remained 1-0 until the end of the 3rd period when Junior Connor Rendell from Alberta, Canada scored followed with a quick empty net bagger.

The Ducks overall record before this weekend’s tournament was 23-3-0-1, with a Pac-8 record of 13-0-0-1. Next up for them are the Western Regionals.
