UPDATE: At 2:04 p.m. Tuesday, the South Lake Tahoe Police Department responded to a call of a person who had fallen from the city-owned parking garage at Heavenly Village. Upon arrival, first responders found a deceased male on the ground.
SLTPD is continuing to investigate to determine if the person fell or jumped, but at this time nothing indicates foul play.
The person has not been identified pending notification of next of kin.
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD) and South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue are at the scene of an incident at the City-owned parking garage at Heavenly Village.
This is a developing story, and they are asking people to avoid the area of Bellamy Ct. Police will be on scene to investigate. There may be reduced vehicle access to the garage and street during this time.
SLTPD said there is no threat to the public due to this incident.
