$35,000 in grants available to nonprofits from Soroptimists of South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – With the success of its 52^nd Wine, Food and Beer Tasting, “Peace, Love, and Vino” on November 7, 2025, Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe (SISLT) is returning $35,000 to the south shore community in the form of community service grants.

The grants will be awarded to nonprofit organizations whose programs and or projects (as specified in their application) improve the lives of women and or children in the South Shore Lake Tahoe community. These grants are designed to support nonprofit organizations making a meaningful impact on the lives of women and children throughout the South Shore in the Lake Tahoe community.

Funding will be awarded to projects that demonstrate strong community benefit, measurable outcomes, and a commitment to serving those most in need.

All applications are due by the March 8, 2026, deadline at 5 p.m.
