Ted Ligety of the U.S. Wins Gold in Giant Slalom: Tim Jitloff of Lake Tahoe 15th

Lake Tahoe skier Tim Jitloff finished 15th in today’s Giant Slalom in Sochi, 1.84 seconds behind winner Ted Ligety of the United States.

Jitloff, who calls Reno, NV home, had runs of 1.23:23 and 1.23:90 for a total time of 2.47:13. Ligety’s race total was 2.45:29.

The Giant Slalom race will be seen on NBC Wednesday night.
