SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Rain and high elevation snow chances are expected through Monday morning, with a pause on Tuesday before a mild mid-week system comes back through the Lake Tahoe Basin.
The National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno said that after the chance of precipitation on Wednesday, there will be another drying trend in the Sierra. Highs this week will vary from 45 to 56 degrees, with lows of 20-27.
At this point, the following week, which starts March 9, will be sunny, clear, and warming.
