SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – A low pressure system that settled over California and Western Nevada resulted in overnight snow in the Sierra Nevada. Another band of that same system may leave some snow as it exits Monday – but Spring isn’t arriving quite yet. This pattern looks to remain active at least through the middle of the month with the next storm system expected to move in mid-week.

So far, nothing has the making of a Miracle March, but more on snowfal amounts will be known as the systems get closer.
