SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The 7th annual Heavenly Village Easter Egg Hunt returns to The Shops at Heavenly Village on April 5, 2026. Event organizers advise families to secure their tickets soon, as the event is nearly sold out.
Each year, the Heavenly Village Easter celebration transforms the iconic village plaza into a vibrant spring festival featuring thousands of candy and prize-filled eggs, an appearance by the Easter Bunny, music, and carnival rides for children of all ages.
The 2026 event will once again feature a $1000 egg hunt for different age groups, ensuring younger participants have a safe and fun experience while older kids can enjoy the thrill of the hunt for special prize eggs hidden throughout the village.
“This event has become one of the most anticipated family traditions in the Tahoe Basin,” said Dreu Murin, event organizer. “The Heavenly Village is not only the number one destination in the basin, but it’s also the premier entertainment and event destination in the region. The Easter celebration is a perfect example of how the Village brings families together, both locals and visitors, for memorable experiences.”
