
Twelve students from South Tahoe Middle School were honored for their essays during the annual Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra Writing Festival.
The students had a topic based on their grade level: seventh graders wrote about “Privacy vs. National Security,” while the eighth graders were challenged with writing about who the 2016 female Presidential candidate should be, and why.
