I have thought grateful thoughts about Measure T every summer and holiday since it was passed. July 4 used to be just awful. It has been so nice not to hear drunken yelling and howling all summer and every holiday throughout the year. We’ve had a few peaceful years and we don’t want to go back.
Too many people came to my neighborhood looking for a ‘party house’ to rent and behaved in ways they would likely never consider in their own neighborhood.
This county and other counties around the lake, and many other cities around the nation are now attempting to solve the problems that Measure T solved for us. This is not the time to be backtracking. The benefits of Measure T need to be maintained for residents.
