SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Saint Joseph Community Land Trust (SJCLT) is collaborating with U.S. Bank and the South Tahoe Association of Realtors to present a free Financial Literacy Seminar series this spring and summer. Historically, financial literacy hasn’t been a priority in our educational system, leading to a decline in financial knowledge among Americans over the years. As the economy becomes increasingly complex, having a strong understanding of advanced financial concepts is essential. Seminar attendees will learn about banking, saving, budgeting, investing, homeownership, insuring, borrowing, risk, growing & maintaining assets, and understanding current financial products and services.
This series will be particularly useful for households preparing to become homeowners. Anyone who would like to increase their financial confidence and invest in their long-term financial success is invited.
SJCLT’s Financial Literacy Seminars will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday in April, May, and June, at the South Tahoe Association of Realtors office located at 2307 James Ave., South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
Dates and topics include:
April 15-Financial Literacy Basics May 20_ Homeownership June 17- Wealth Management.
Space is limited so please RSVP to contact@saintjosephclt.org to secure your spot.
