SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The public is invited to the City of South Lake Tahoe’s first meeting on the new updates for the 2027-35 Housing Element. The community meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 25, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center (1180 Rufus Allen Blvd. – not the new one).
The Housing Element is required by state law and creates the housing work plan for the city for the next eight years. Now is your opportunity to provide them with your policy and program ideas, challenges, and opportunities you see in the community, to be integrated into this plan. For those unable to make this meeting, meetings can be scheduled for individuals or groups with the City’s Housing Manager, Jessica Wackenhut Lomeli.
