SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – A group of South Lake Tahoe crafters is raising funds to help ease food insecurity around the country with a Knit-A-Thon on Saturday, April 5. “We’re looking to help make the world a little better, one stitch at a time,” they said.

The event will be taking place at Paddle House Brews (the former Revive) from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. They are located at 3135 Harrison Ave., South Lake Tahoe.

The public is invited to stop by and watch, enjoy a cup of coffee, or buy handmade items from local crafters.

This is the fifth annual Knit For Food event in the country.
