SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Last year, it took just six days to sell out the annual Mad Hatter Tea Party hosted by the Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra (SITS) club at Valhalla Tahoe. This year, tickets to the popular event are expected to sell out quickly. Only 120 will be sold!
The Mad Hatter Tea Party will be held on Sunday, May 17, from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Enjoy a madly wonderful day of tea service, a delicious meal, and refreshing mimosas
There will also be games, photo booths, and a gift basket raffle. with plenty of photo opportunities in the middle of a festively decorated venue. Adorn yourself in a festive outfit too!
SITS uses all funds raised to support local women and youth through scholarships, awards, donations, and grants.
Tickets are $75 and go on sale at 7 a.m. April 1 at https://e.givesmart.com/events/LH3/page/MadHatterTickets/. The link becomes live right at 7 a.m.
This is the club’s fundraising season, and there are also two more opportunities to donate and have a chance to win!
The SITS members are also raising funds by selling tickets for two vacation stay raffles. Just 200 tickets will be sold for each trip – one is a week at a condo in Kihei, Maui, and the other is a week’s stay at a timeshare anywhere in the world (no airfare included, accommodations only).
