Amateur hour becomes amateur decade!!
Properly managed the staff should have NO NEED for an “urgency ordinance.” It was no secret that the 11/06/18 Measure T was being challenged in court.
Staff has had over 6 years to prepare for the judge’s ruling.
In point of fact, that’s 77 long months to prepare.
Is the staff incompetent or just poorly managed?

Additionally, on the city’s website, below touted an employment rate of 65.9 percent. Totally misleading.
The reality is that the city has an outrageous unemployment rate of 34.1 percent. Bringing back citywide VHR’s should help to reduce that number. This is an URGENT crisis that cannot wait for a ridiculous staff-driven “urgency ordinance” that will continue to suppress employment in the city.
