STATELINE, Nev. – The Tahoe Knight Monsters split their final two home games of the season at the Tahoe Blue Event Center. They have one week left in the regular season, but are setting their sights on the 2026 Kelly Cup playoffs with tickets available HERE.

Friday – The Force is with the Knight Monsters in 3-0 Win over Cyclones on Star Wars Knight

The “Tahoe Powder Hounds” defeated the Cincinnati Cyclones 3-0 on Star Wars Knight.

In the first period, the Knight Monsters started strong as Samuel Huo scored his second career goal to make it 1-0. Later in the frame, Mike O’Leary would add to the lead with a power play goal to give Tahoe a 2-0 lead heading into the second.   

In the middle frame, both teams were kept off the scoresheet as Cincinnati’s Ken Appleby and Tahoe’s Alex Tracy both played outstanding in net, and the Knight Monsters took a 2-0 lead into the final 20 minutes of action.  

In the final frame, Huo scored an empty-net goal to extend the Tahoe lead to 3, and Alex Tracy stood tall in net, stopping all 43 Cincinnati shots, earning himself a shutout in his first professional start, as Tahoe got the win 3-0.

Saturday Cyclones Score Three Unanswered to Defeat Knight Monsters on Fan Appreciation Knight

The Tahoe Knight Monsters fell to the Cincinnati Cyclones 3-2 on Fan Appreciation Knight.  

In the first period, Devon Paliani became the second Knight Monster in franchise history to reach 30 goals in a season as he scored on a follow-up chance in front of the net to make it 1-0 Knight Monsters heading into the second period.    

In the middle period, Aidan De La Gorgendiere scored his first goal as a Knight Monster to extend the lead to 2-0. However, after opening his pro career with over 93 minutes of shutout hockey, Cincinnati beat Alex Tracy as Marko Sikic got the Cyclones on the board for the first time since Wednesday, as the lead was slashed in half, and Tahoe took a 2-1 lead into the final period.

In the third, the Cyclones tied the game on the power play thanks to Adam Kydd, making it 2-2. Following the game-tying goal, Ryan Kirwan extended his team lead in goals with number 23 to give Cincinnati a 3-2 lead, and eventually a victory.
