SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Tahoe Ballet & Performing Arts Foundation is hosting its 2nd annual Run for the Roses – Kentucky Derby Fundraiser on Saturday, May 2, at the Lake Tahoe Golf Course from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Funds raised directly support the ballet foundation’s mission to offer high-quality performing arts opportunities to the children in the South Lake Tahoe community.
As a bonus fundraiser, sponsor one dancer for $100 and be entered into a drawing to win one night in a lakeview room at Edgewood Tahoe! Tickets can be purchased in person only Mondays–Fridays, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., until Thursday, May 1st, at Tillson Law, 589 Tahoe Keys Blvd., Suite E4, South Lake Tahoe.
For those attending a Run For The Roses, raffle tickets are just $50.

The Run for the Roses community event will feature:
- Children’s activities, including face painting and Ever After Production characters
- Appetizers, live auction, and raffle
- Kentucky Derby races
- Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their Derby best
