2:15 p.m. UPDATE: The snow has been cleared and US50 at Echo Summit is clear in both directions.
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Caltrans is working on a snow slide near the top of Echo Summit on US50. At 11:14 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the slide in the westbound lane.
The eastbound traffic is currently moving as the snow is removed from the other lane.
