SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – On Monday, April 26, Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) is moving to full-day bell schedule at all schools along with an adjusted transportation plan.
Elementary schools will have full-day instruction Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
South Tahoe Middle School and South Tahoe High School will have expanded school days but remain in a Monday-Tuesday Cohort or a Thursday-Friday Cohort. The district is targeting May 17 for a shift to Phase 4 (traditional model). This would move all secondary students to the classroom four-days-per-week and eliminate the cohorts.
School administrators and all District departments are currently working out the details for welcoming all students to the STMS/STHS campuses collectively, with safety at the forefront.
Each school site has been in touch with students and parents on bell and bus schedules.
